DAY 117 (Monday 14 November 2011)

NAMASTE (means Hello in Nepali). Today was the start of our Nepali Language Course, all I can say is it wasn’t too bad, we had to learn how to say the letters of the alphabet their way.  We have 26 letters in the alphabet, they have 36, we have 5 vowels, they have 13 vowels, how they make some of their vowels is using double letters like ii, aa, ai, etc.  Unfortunately for me, even though I am technically on course, I still had to go into work to make sure that there was nothing urgent that needing doing, however, with my job it is always busy, and as I have some visitors due out next week I am constantly getting emails or sorting out the programmes, so it was a late finish for me.

There were only 4 of us on the course in the end even though there were 7 of us down to do the course.

I do know one thing though, this week I shall not be doing PT in the morning even though I start my lessons at 0830hrs.
