DAY 102 (Saturday 29 October 2011)

Well this morning I decided to risk it and go out on the bike, there were only 5 of us, there was me, Charlie, BK, Kath Thompson and her brother (sorry Kath can’t remember your brother’s name).  We set off at 0630hrs and got to the tea house out our destination about an hour or so later.  Most of the road that we had to travel was along the highway, that wasn’t too bad as it was a Saturday and that is the quietest day for traffic, I actually think that is why BK chose that day to do this particular ride, after we left the highway (basically it just peters out to a normal two way road and guess what, it was completely tarmac.

On the way up to the way up there was a golden statue of SHIVA.

We finally made it to our destination and stopped for a good half an hour for a tea break before heading back down the hill to the highway, going back downhill was so much more fun than riding up the thing.  Charlie even managed to get up to 52 kmph going back down the hill (which equates to about 30 miles per hour and we actually travelled 41km which is a Marathon or thereabouts.

Once we got home, it was the normal, shower, breakfast, put the washing on and this one is new, sorting out my uniform ready for Monday, oh the joy of getting back into uniform, I won’t have to decided each night what I am going to wear the next day.

Well it’s late so tootle pip as I am off to bed, don’t forget though as you change your clocks back by 1 hour, I shall now be 5¾ hours ahead of you all that are on UK times.
