Well we woke up to rain today, not overally happy
that I’d have to trek in the rain but hey that is part and parcel of this
place. Anyhow, we got up at 0600 hours
so that we could get our breakfast sorted before Kaji came to collect us for
our trek today, he told us the night before that the trek would take us a good
7 hours even though we had only 700 meters to go to for our next location, it
was basically up hill all the way, and boy he wasn’t wrong, but how can you
complain when the scenery is amazing.

We did stop for lunch even though it was at 1000
hours because there was no other place to get any food until you reached
NAMCHE.
We finally got to NAMCHE at around 1400 hours , as
we got closer to our lodge that we were going to stay in for the next 2 nights
the weather really came in but we made it before we got wet, however, no sooner
had the rain came it went again.
Later after a few hours and before it got dark,
Charlie popped outside and came back in quickly to tell me that something had
appeared, I went out and there were 2 mountains that had appeared out of
nowhere, well not exactly nowhere they had been there all along just hidden by
the low lying clouds.
