DAY 234 (Friday 23 March 2012)

Today was a good day for me as I actually had a day off which was ideal as it gave me chance to sort out any last minute ironing that I had to do for my Summer Mess dress that I was having to wear to the BGN Ball which was held tonight.

The Ball itself was actually alright, it was held at the Soaltee Crown Plaza HOTEL here in Kathmandu.  The food was really good, especially the desert station that had a Chocolate Fountain

There were 15 prizes for the raffle and the top prize was a free flight back to the UK from Ethiad Airlines (and their flights aren’t cheap), unfortunately I didn’t win any prizes but the top prize was won by the COS wife Sue (fix springs to mind).

Anyway a good night was had by all and the drinking ……….as far as I know carried on to the wee small hours of Saturday as it was Midnight when I left on the first transport (no I managed not to turn into a pumpkin).
