DAY 140 (Wednesday 07 December 2011)

Today was a quietish day in work, however I didn’t get to spend much of the day working as I had a 2 hour training session for CVO / CNO (Casualty Visitor Officer / Casualty Notification Officer), which if you can call it training, most of it was spent watching DVD’s on different scenarios. 

In the afternoon I had a Mess Committee meeting to discuss what had gone on whilst the DCOS (PMC) was away and what we have got coming up, well tomorrow night is Quiz night, the only thing that I have had to do for that is to collate the returns, normally that means chasing everyone up at the last minute to see who is going or not in some cases.  Next Thu is the Christmas function, the theme for that is ‘Santa and his little helpers’ or black tie if you want to be boring, me, I have got my little Elf outfit so I am sorted.  Again I have spent half my time chasing people up for this function too.
