DAY 128 (Friday 25 November 2011)

Today is fancy dress night, when I first got here I looked at the Forecast of Events for the Combined Mess to see what was on the agenda and one thing that I saw was the fancy dress down for tonight, it was supposed to be Cowboys and Indians, so with that I went ahead and ordered some fancy dress outfits for me and Charlie, I was going to go as an Indian squaw and he was going to go as a Sheriff, well, unbeknown to us, Foxy (Capt Frances Fox) decided to change the fancy dress theme to Country and Western instead, now I could have gone as my Indian squaw but to be honest I am glad that I didn’t because everyone else just turned up as cowboys (including the girls).

There was even a cow there tonight, well as close to a cow as we can get, it was really Tony’s scooter dressed up to look like a cow for the evening...

To be honest it wasn’t a bad night, but it was a shame that half the people didn’t show up because they were either on their way to EVEREST BASE CAMP to start the EVEREST MARATHON or they had other commitments.  The food wasn’t too bad either.
