We got into the pool and it was such a nice surprise as the water was quite warm, you could actually see steam coming off the top of the water, well as it was just about 0630hrs when we got in the pool I decided that I shall do either 20 lengths or 20 minutes and then get out after which ever one came first; what you have to remember is that the pool is not a standard size swimming pool, I think it is only about 16 meters in length, so needless to say that the lengths went by a lot quicker than the time.
Charlie however, didn’t even manage 10 lengths, admittedly the last time he actually probably swam was when he did his military swim test all them years ago (yes, he is that old) sorry hunni. Anyway Charlie bobbed around a bit but got out of the pool the same time as me, he has said though that he will still come with me each Wednesday and do at least a couple more lengths each time. (We shall see), I am hoping to have a budding Olympic swimmer on my hands by the time I leave here, but I shall let you know if I meet one.......
Other than the swimming, nothing else really happened today.
Tomorrow though could be interesting as it will be my first time out on my bike for a PT session, but after the fun I had with it on Saturday I think I may take it a little careful just in case my handlebars decided to loosen off again.
