Today was quite interesting, for Charlie anyway, I went to work to do my normal stuff but when Charlie went down town to go and get the shopping for tea, he didn’t get much further than the roundabout at the top of the main street, this is because there was a Bhund. A Bhand can turn into a bit of a riot, you know when one of these are going to kick off if you haven’t had a text message to warn you off, there are no cars on the roads and all of the shops are shut, we are advised not to leave camp when one of these are on, so when Charlie realised what was going on he did the right thing and came home.
My day was the same as normal, sorting out programmes for most of it, so that was it for me, but DCOS did come and tell me to disappear at 1600hrs as everyone else had done one for the day.
Tomorrow I am going for a bike ride up to Hattiban, not sure how many of us are going but I know Charlie won’t be as he is still not a 100%.
As it’s another early rise on tomorrow I shall sign off and get an earlyish night in.
